Thank you for wanting to know more about us, and for visiting with us.  You're so welcome here and we truly hope you enjoy exploring Cheerful.

On the face of it, we are an independent Christian art & creative community marketplace.  But that simple sentence doesn't really communicate how we feel about creating Cheerful, or why we did it...

Who we are..

Our Founders

We founded Cheerful because for many years we have loved working in the creative industries.  So the work we do day-to-day is hugely fulfilling to us.

We get excited by innovations, visual media and news trends emerging around the world.

Equally, we are passionate about Really Good Art.  Creativity is a truly beautiful endeavour.  It remains one of the few areas in life that we unashamedly allow ourselves to mentally, spiritually & emotionally engage with something at the same time. It's really a form of worship. We believe everyone should be able to take part in that.

Our Community

Our dream is to connect with people from lots of different backgrounds, countries and cultures. Each bringing their unique style and flavour to the work they produce and the stories they tell.

Our Mission

We want to share what God wants to say to people everywhere.

When we receive a gift from others, we feel seen, understood and a little bit more connected. We want to help our global family share God's own words, and heart, with each other and with the wider world.

It is our deepest hope that beyond enjoying the art you see and share from Cheerful, you and those who receive your gifts, will truly experience the message behind it.  That's the real 'why' behind what we do.

Our Aims

We want worship, and share Jesus. Using our natural talents, craftsmanship and creativity. 

Right now there are about 8 billion people in the world - we want to reach out to them with the hope, and love we have the privilege to experience through our faith.

We believe how we do that is as unique as each of those 8 billion souls. At Cheerful, we use art. When you add your own message to that art, together, we can make it really, really personal. Because we know a personal God.

Cheerful's Faith Declaration

We believe there is one God, in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit and that the Bible is a collection of books telling us God’s story about his relationship with humanity.

We believe that the Son, Jesus Christ, lived with us on earth as a human, to teach us who God is and what God's kingdom is like and make a way for us to be part of that kingdom.

Jesus taught that humanity had rejected God and gone its own way. And so we were separated from knowing God and doomed to live in our fallen world cut off from him. No religion could make us clean enough to get back to him.

But, he came not to judge us, but to save us from our fate! He would sacrifice himself to atone for us, in our place. By believing in him and this gift he gave us, we can be made new, in God's eyes. We have peace with God, and adopted as children of God. We know the Father as he truly is, Creator, and Father. Who loved us and gave his own Son for us, even when we were once his enemies.

After dying for this, 3 days later Jesus was brought back to life by the Spirit of God. He is the first human to be truly, eternally, victorious over death. He stayed to demonstrate this victory and tell his followers they share his victory too. So we are to go and tell everyone in the world that we have hope and a future, because of Jesus.

Then he ascended to the Father's kingdom in Heaven, and sat down beside the Father, as King over everything in creation.

While Jesus completes his preparations in Heaven, to join Heaven and Earth, he sent the Spirit to stay with us on earth, so we can know and experience God living with us and empowering our lives here on earth. Taking back what was destroyed and sharing God's kingdom and desire for peace with every human on the planet.

The Spirit teaches us how to live in a peaceful, loving relationship with God, learning all about God and his kingdom. And, how to live with each other, as complex and different unique humans too!

Whatever circumstances led us to hear and know this truth, once we experience it, we are instantly and permanently reconciled with God. From that moment onwards, God Never leaves us, or abandons us, not ever.

And we get to understand; to truly know, just how much God loves us - and that changes everything. The best part of all this? This and so much more, is for you; it's open to every single human being on the planet, bar none, no matter what.
